If you have not read the first part of this story, a link is in the artist comments. I advise you do, since this makes a lot of references to the first part!

_____ sighed, something she'd been doing a lot lately.

She stared at the text-covered screen of her computer. The Wikipedia page on dreaming was yet another attempt of hers to explain that night. She had scoured the internet looking for an explanation to the amazing night she'd experienced only a week ago. The vivid dream was still fresh in her mind. She could recall every detail and person she'd seen.

On her quest to explain the night, the only logical explanation was that it was a lucid dream, but _____ refused to buy it. It had to be something more. A supernatural sign, a prediction to her future, anything! Didn't it?

She closed her laptop and shoved it to the back of her desk. ____ propped her head up in her hands, staring at her open window. It was the same window that the mysterious vampire boy, Vladimir, had popped through and took her on an adventure for one night. She remembered the perfect kiss they shared, only seconds before ____ was stolen from him and taken back to reality.

"Am I going crazy?" _____ whispered to herself, her eyebrows creased in thought. A slight breeze blew through the opening, blowing loose strands of her hair around her eyes that tickled her cheeks. She didn't bother to brush them away.

"______, dear?" Another voice shocked _____ out of her thinking. She whipped her head around.

The face of _____'s mother poked through her parted door. "It's time for bed, you have school tomorrow."

"Right. Night, mom." _____ said without taking her eyes off the window.

As soon at ____ heard her door click shut, she stood to make the short walk to her bed. ____ hated the though of having school tomorrow. It's wasn't that she didn't have friends. She has a few and pretty good grades, but it would take precious time away from her dream research!

"Hopefully school goes by fast." She muttered, lazily throwing the covers over herself and closing her tired eyes.

~

A bright light shone directly above _____. At least it seemed like it did, like whoever turned it on was trying their best wake her up. _____ blinked once to adjust her eyes to the foreign light. Turns out there was no single light. More like she was completely surrounded by it, sitting in a room made of sunrays.

"Oh, you're awake."

"Huh?" The voice made ____ jump. This was the second time someone else had managed to startle her without meaning to.

"It's nice to see you again." The voice said.

_____ turned around. A boy that looked around her age was perched on 'shelf' a few feet above the ground. He was hunched over, his elbows resting on his knees. A white tailcoat hung behind him with dirty blond hair hanging in front of his dark purple eyes.

"You..." _____ whispered.

"Aw, you don't remember me? What a shame."The boy jumped down from his seat to her side.  He frowned, but the spark in his eyes showed that he didn't take any offence.

"Saxon!" _____ exclaimed, his memory coming back to her. Saxon was one of the few people she'd met in her dream. He was a Dream Eater, if she remembered correctly, and a friend of Vladimir's. "I'm not going crazy! You are real! And Vladimir must be, too!"

"Ah, so you do remember me, and much more." He grinned at her before his face transformed to become serious again. The spark in his eyes disappeared.

"As nice as it is to see you again, Lady ____, i'm afraid I had no time for small chit-chat." He said. "It's...It's about Vladimir."

"Why? What's wrong with him?" _____ voice became laced with worry. Was this her fault? Had she done something wrong by attempting to figure out her night with him?

"I wanted to ask, what did you do to him?" Saxon looked at her again. Not in anger or judgement, but in genuine curiosity.

"M-me? I didn't do anything! At least I think so..." _____ bit her bottom lip so hard it started to bleed. "Why? What's wrong with him?"

"He won't eat." Saxon said, adverting his eyes from _____. "Vampires need blood to survive, but he refuses to eat anything! All he does is lock himself in his room and stare out the window."

"He'll die of starvation if this continues much longer." Saxon looked straight ahead. He seemed more distressed by this then anything.

"Oh," The (h/c) girl said, barely audible. Vladimir was starving himself, but what did this have to do with her?

"So, why do you think this is traced back to me?" She asked, looking up at Saxon.

"I don't know." He admitted. "I didn't know where else to go. The night we all met, he was fine, then a day later, he became a recluse."

"I think he's a afraid of hurting you." The Dream Eater clasped his hands behind his back and closed his eyes.

"Of hurting me? Why would he try to hurt me?" _____ bit the inside of her cheek this time.

"Vampires feed on humans for energy. The only conclusion I can draw it that he's afraid of the slight chance of feeding from you." Saxon sighed. He hated placing the blame for his best friend's weakening on _____. After all, she was only human and was suppose to be blissfully unaware that 'monsters' inhibited her world.

_____ brought her hands to her chest, placing the over her heart. "Saxon, d-do you think that you could take me to Vladimir? Maybe I can try to make him better?"

Saxon's plum-colored eyes widened in surprise and his cheeks flared. "Are you mad? Do you know how difficult that would be? Merging the dreams of two people is extremely difficult and not to mention exhausting!"

_____ jumped back at his tone. "B-but you did it before. Wasn't that how I met you in the first place?"

"...I suppose you're right there." Saxon sighed at his stupidly flawed argument.

"Please, Saxon? Give me one chance, I promise i'll do what I can." _____ widened her eyes to look innocent, her eyes sparkled with hope and a parted frown on her lips.

"Alright, i'll try my best." Saxon turned away from ______. "I'll see you...the next time you sleep."

"The next time I sleep? W-why can't you just take me to him now!?" _____ stamped her foot like a child.

"Because I already used up a lot of magic bringing you here. Attempting to bring Vladimir here against his will would use up much more than necessary." Saxon crossed his arms as if everyone should of known how dream making works. "Plus, it's time for you to go."

"T-to go? But I've only been here for a few minutes!" The (e/c)-eyed girl's voice lowered. She hunched over to check her entire body, but there was no unnatural sensation. Yet.

"Times moves fast in your mind. In fact, it's almost morning." He informed her with a cheeky grin.

"Morning?" _____ shouted. She looked at her hands, or looked through her hands. She was becoming transparent, fading away and being forced back to the real world. She felt numbness take her legs, then her hips and chest. White mist covered her in a heavy veil and as soon as it faded, ____ had as well.

Saxon kicked the floor and sighed. The things I do for you... He thought, now standing alone in the empty white room.

~

"Good morning, (embarrassing nickname)~" _____'s mother flung the curtains of her daughter's room open, letting in morning light.

"Ugh..." ____ moaned. She was many things, but a morning person was not one of them!

"Get up, girly, it's time for school." He mother clapped her hands. "Chop chop!"

_____'s pulled the covers back over her head. Suddenly, an idea entered her head.

"Ooohh..." She groaned in exaggerated pain. "Mommy, I think i'm sick..."

"Mom?" She peered over the covers to see that her mom was no longer in the room. Perfect.

_____ held her head under her heavy blanket for a few minutes longer until she started to sweat. Then she staggered out fo her bed and limped down the stairs.

"Mommy, I don't feel so well..." She said, standing at the bottom of the stair and gripping the hand rail like her life depended on it.

"Oh?" _____'s mom gave her a skeptical look. "Let me check your temperature."

_____ shuffled to her mother, letting her hand test her forehead.

Please work, please work, please, please, please!

"Yeah, you do feel warm, does your head hurt, too?" Her mother's face took on a concerned look.

'Yeah, I just don't feel well." She said weakly. So far, so good.

"Why don't you go rest? I have to leave for work soon, i'll check in on you during lunch."

"Ok..." ____ faked, watching her mom slip out the door. As soon at the door closed, she wiped the sick look off her face and scampered up the stairs to her room. When she was only a few feet from going to so bed, _____ stopped herself.

"I should give Saxon a little more time before going back to bed..." She mumbled to herself, remembering Saxon's word about fusing dreams.

"And in the time, I should do whatever I can to become as sleepy as possible!" She announced.

~

"This was a bad idea..." _____  said, her head wavering from left to right. It had barely been an hour since she decided to put herself through so many boring things that the second her head hit the pillow, she'd be out.

For the past two hours she'd watched a French movie without subtitles with her mom's classical CD's playing in the background, stuffed herself full of microwaveable rice and it was only 9:30!

"Saxon, I hope your close to being ready..." _____ muttered. Her head dipped down, but she propped it back up a second later.

"Screw it, i'm going to bed." She said, then let herself fall over to the couch and she was out like a light.

~

"Really _____? Really?"

"Sorry..."

_____ cast a sheepish look at Saxon. It was obvious he was annoyed at her desperate attempt to fall asleep as soon as possible and convince Saxon to use some dream-y magic. But luckily, he has just enough for merge the dreams of both _____ and Vladimir.

"So, are you ready to see him again?" Saxon asked, his arms crossed.

"Yes, of course i'm ready." ____ nodded curtly. Her heart beat with anticipation.

"Then let's be on our way." The purple-eyed Dream Eater snapped his fingers and transported _____ to the outside of a large, tutor-style house.

"So, Vladimir is here?" She asked, her (e/c)'s looking the house up and down. The other thing she noticed, besides the change in scenery, was her change in clothes. She recolonized the knee-length dark red dress with sheer sleeves and a side slit from her last meeting with Vladimir. The short cape fluttered gently behind her.

"Yup, he's inside." Saxon said. "I'd advise you to hurry, i'm not sure how long I can keep this up. I'll be out here if you need me for anything."

"Wait, where do I go? This place is huge!" She waved her arms about her head to emphasize just how 'huge' his manor was.

Saxon sighed. "Go all the way down the front hall, take a right and he should be in the 3rd room on the left."

"Oh," _____ looked back at the house. She was starting to get a little annoyed at Saxon's know-it-all attitude. "Then i'll be going..."

_____ pulled on the iron knocker to open the towering wooden door. She slipped through the opening and found the the first room was the long hallway.

"Down the hallway," She whispered to herself, looking at the many landscape paintings that lined the walls. It was dark, as she'd expected. The minimal furniture made long shadows on the inside of the house.

"Take a right, the 3rd room on the left," She whispered again, louder than last time. She stood in front of the dark wood door, almost too afraid to open it. _____ took a long breath, and twisted the knob.

She opened the door just enough to fit herself in, then closed it quietly behind her.

There was Vladimir, sitting in a simple chair, staring out the window at the wilting garden.

"Please, Saxon. Go away." He said, his voice quiet and noticeably sad. It seemed that Saxon had visited Vladimir more than a few times. So much so that the sound of the door opening triggered an instant reply.

"Vladimir," _____ spoke up.

She watched as the strawberry-blonde vampire stiffened, even if she couldn't see his face, she imagined it would be one of pure shock.

"_____?" He said, turning around in the seat. "Y-you...You're actually here."

"Yeah, I asked Saxon to bring me here, b-because I wanted to see you again." She said, cheeks flushing as she took step toward him.

"Why would you do that?" He asked, sadness washing over his features. "I'm a vampire. I can kill you. I've been trying to forget about you but I can't stop!"

"I don't know what this feeling is, or why it's so strange!" He continued, twisting his fingers in his hair from frustration.  "It hurts, I don't know how much this will go on..."

"I think i'd rather die than live through this."

"Why would you think about that!" _____ cried. One hand gripped the back of his chair and the other hovered above his shoulder. As much as she wanted hug him, she resisted for fear of him pushing her away. "There has to be something it live for, doesn't there?"

"I don't want to hurt anyone, it's just for survival." He whispered, shifting in his seat to face ____. He seems paler, his face thinner, dark circles hung under his eyes. "I've watched so many people die; my old friends, my family, even those who walked by me everyday but whose's names I never learned. I though that immortality would be amazing, but it's more pain than anything."

"I don't know what possessed me to take such an interest in you, I already knew that I just have to watch you grow up and then die, just like everyone else." He continued, his red eyes gazing to ____'s (e/c) ones. "I just wanted to have one night to spend with you, but I didn't think i'd end up feeling this way."

"B-but i'm still young, I have plenty of time before I die!" ____ tried to smile, but failed. She knew that Vladimir would stay in the body of a teenager as she grew old and the cycle repeated itself. "I'd like to stay with you, if only I could..."

Suddenly, Vladimir perked up.

"There's a way." He said, standing up. He reached out a hand to _____'s shoulder and squeezing her.

"I could turn you to a vampire." He said. The words seemed hard and forced, like just saying them brought physical pain.

"A vampire," _____ repeated. Vladimir wants to turn me into a vampire?

"I- I don't know," She whispered, turning away from him. "What would happen...to my friends and my family?"

"Nothing," He answered. "Once you turn immortal everyone previously connected to you forgets of your existence. It'd be like you were never born."

"Like I never existed," She repeated him once again. It seemed so simple, but having to live knowing you'd be forgotten by everyone you ever knew? The though alone made her want to cry.

"I- I," _____ stuttered. She watch Vladimir's face, his hopeful eyes were slowly become dull and dark.

"...OK, i'll come with you." She breathed.

"Really?" Vladimir's face sparked to life. It was obvious that he'd expected _____ to deny his offer.

"...Yes, i'll let you turn me into a vampire." She smiled at him. "so, how does this work?"

"It's easy, you just have to let me bite you." He grinned, flashing his elongated canines.

"Oh," _____ said, twisting her chin to give him a good look at her neck. "I guess you can go ahead..."

"It's alright, this will only hurt a little." He promised, then plunged his mouth to her neck. The pain was quick and sharp, it felt like getting pricked with a needle. _____ did her best to keep perfectly still, just encase any movement of her's would effect the change.

Moments later, Vladimir parted from her neck. He wiped spots of blood from his chin, then sent another cheeky grin _____'s way. The mischievous spark that had been missing returned to his eyes.

"A-am I a vampire?" _____ blinked. She didn't feel any different, just a little woozy.

"No, not yet. You're fangs won't grow in for a few days, but as of now, you are an immortal." He explained.

His smiling red eyes stared down at _____. The warm look made her turn away and blush. Deja vu reminded her of the similar feeling she had just before their first kiss. The blonde vampire's face hovered barely above hers for what seemed like an eternity. He leaned closer and closer until their lips touched. She let the kiss overtake her, the feeling comfort that someone would be there for her, forever.

_____ dreaded when they parted, she was only given a second to take in his happy face before she was once again, forced to wake up.

~

_____  jumped. She was back in the real world, only...Outside? She wasn't laying on the couch in her living room as she had been before meeting Saxon. She felt her neck, small bumps from Vladimir's fangs lined the left side of her neck.

"Oh, you're awake."

______ jumped again at the sudden voice. She turned around, but no one was there. A tingling sensation buzzed inside her head, so she looked up. Must be some fellow monster-sensing instinct.

"Are you kidding me? That's the second time you've managed to scare me!" _____ scolded the dark blonde boy that perched on a tree branch above her.

"Hehe, my apologies, Lady _____." Saxon grinned. He leaped down and landed next to her.

"So, are you ready to go?" Saxon asked.

"Go where?" _____ questioned.

"To see Vladimir." He answered. "What? Did you think I wouldn't hear what you an Vladimir where talking about? You underestimate the power I have in a human's unconscious!"

"Oh," _____ blushed, thinking the heavens that she and Vladimir hadn't discussed anything more that what Saxon had expected.

"Yeah, let's go." She smiled.

"Excellent choice!" Saxon cheered, then snapped his fingers once again.

______ managed to take a last glance at her former home. Through the windows, she saw her mother watching over the little boy that would of became her brother.

~

Under the dark sky of Romania, Vladimir and _____ watched the lights of a city in the distance. They remained silent and perched on the top of a skyscraper. The quiet wasn't awkward, but peaceful.

"Y'know what? I should get a new outfit." _____ chimed out of the blue.

"What makes you think you need new clothes?" Vladimir shot her a strange look.

"Because now that i'm a vampire, I think I should look better, more classy and sophisticated." ______ answered, as if it should of been obvious. She folded her hands together and swooned at the thought of all the fancy dresses she'd now have an excuse to wear. She loved dressing up, but hated to admit it.

"I suppose you have a point, if you really want to." Vlad shrugged, hooking his arms in the crook of _____'s, pulling her close. "Whatever your clothing, you'll always be my lady."

Ah, stupid title and premise! So, ever since I posted the first part of this story, i've receive many comments asking for a 2nd part. Do you know see why I was hesitant to make it!? I just ruined a really cute story by writing this! Ok, so I don't hate it that much.
Fangirls, you can have Romania, because Saxon is mine! It's weird to fall in love with a character that was originally made on the spot. Am I think only one who thinks it's weird to include an OC as somewhat of a prominent character in a READER-INSERT? Hopefully not many people will have a problem with him...Oh well.

Enjoy my fellow fangirls!
